Job overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly driven Business Development Lead, Thailand to spearhead our B2B growth in the Thai market. This role leads the end-to-end business development strategy for Thailand, managing a team of Business Development Managers while independently driving high-impact enterprise deals.
You will own market development, build senior-level partnerships, and drive the adoption of ELSA’s AI-powered English communication solutions across Thailand’s corporate and education sectors.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in enterprise sales or business development, proven experience managing BD teams, and a track record of winning large strategic accounts. Experience selling SaaS, EdTech, or L&D solutions is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Market Strategy
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Managers in Thailand to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Build and execute Thailand’s B2B go-to-market strategy in alignment with regional business objectives.
Conduct deep market analysis to identify new business segments, partnership models, and growth opportunities.
Enterprise Sales & Partnerships
Drive end-to-end enterprise sales cycles—from sourcing opportunities and stakeholder mapping to presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers across HR, L&D, Training, and Business Leadership functions.
Represent ELSA at key industry events, conferences, and networking forums to strengthen brand presence.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Customer Success, Marketing and RevOps teams to create market-specific initiatives and tailored enterprise solutions.
Ensure seamless delivery and post-sale experience for enterprise clients.
Performance & Reporting
Monitor and report weekly/monthly/quarterly results, pipeline metrics, and market intelligence.
Build and continuously optimize in-house best practices for business development operations and team performance.
What You Will Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
7+ years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or related roles.
3+ years of experience managing BD or sales teams, preferably within Thailand.
Proven track record of closing large enterprise deals and achieving revenue targets.
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (cold outreach, consultative selling, enterprise presentations).
Experience in Education, Training, SaaS, or HR/L&D solutions is a strong plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and networking skills.
Strong command of English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance tracking.
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for productivity and workflows.
